Description
Crispy air fryer chicken tenders stuffed with creamy brie and tangy cranberry sauce for a sweet and savory twist.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken tenderloins
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free blend)
- 2 eggs (or buttermilk as an alternative)
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
- 2 ounces brie (optional for stuffing)
- Zest of 1 orange or a squeeze of orange juice (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Pat chicken tenderloins dry.
- Cut a small pocket along the side with a paring knife.
- Add about 1 teaspoon of brie and 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce into each pocket.
- Close the pocket with a toothpick if needed.
- Coat the stuffed tenderloins in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat in panko breadcrumbs.
- Air fry at 380°F for about 9 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Notes
Serve with a side of cranberry dip for dipping. Store leftovers in airtight containers, keeping dip separate to maintain crispiness.
