Description
Easy and flavorful chicken skewers made in the air fryer, perfect for quick dinner solutions.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken cubes and toss until well coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes for the best flavor.
- Prepare the skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20-30 minutes to prevent burning. Once soaked, thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers.
- Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the skewers: Place the skewers in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked.
- Serve and enjoy: Once done, remove the skewers from the air fryer and let them cool for a few moments before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight. Ensure there’s space between the skewers in the air fryer for even cooking.
