Description

Juicy, tender chicken cutlets seasoned to perfection and cooked in the air fryer for a guilt-free comfort meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, sliced into cutlets
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Start by trimming the chicken breasts and slicing them into uniform cutlets.
  2. Coating Station: Set up your dredging station with breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in one bowl, and beaten eggs in another.
  3. Dredge the Chicken: Dip each chicken cutlet first into the beaten eggs, then coat them in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Cooking: Place the cutlets in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle oil over the top.
  6. Air Fry: Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

Ensure even slicing and preheating the air fryer for optimal crispiness.
