Description

A delightful autumn-inspired Air Fryer Bang Bang Chicken with a crunchy exterior and zesty, creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (optional, for spice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Set up your breading station by placing flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs in three separate bowls.
  3. Coat each piece of chicken in flour, then dip it into the beaten egg, and finally roll it in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the breaded chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and fully cooked.
  6. Mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha in a bowl while the chicken is cooking. Adjust the spiciness to your preference.
  7. Toss the chicken in the sauce or serve it on the side for dipping.

Notes

Ensure even coating and do not overcrowd the air fryer for best results.
