- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha (optional, for spice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Set up your breading station by placing flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs in three separate bowls.
- Coat each piece of chicken in flour, then dip it into the beaten egg, and finally roll it in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the breaded chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha in a bowl while the chicken is cooking. Adjust the spiciness to your preference.
- Toss the chicken in the sauce or serve it on the side for dipping.
