Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Sea salt, to taste
- Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, cheese, chives, bacon bits, or your favorite seasonings
Instructions
- Prep the potatoes by scrubbing them under cold water and drying with a towel.
- Poke several holes in each potato with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- Oil and salt the potatoes, coating them with olive oil and sprinkling with sea salt.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Air fry the potatoes for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for doneness by piercing with a fork; continue air frying in 5-minute increments if necessary.
- Serve the baked potatoes after letting them cool briefly, and add your favorite toppings.
Notes
Choose russet potatoes for the best texture. Don’t skip poking the holes for steam escape. For crispier skin, spray oil halfway through cooking.
