A protein-packed beef bowl combining sweet and spicy flavors, perfect for cozy dinners and meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon hot honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice or quinoa
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain excess fat if needed, then stir in hot honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Prepare your choice of brown rice or quinoa according to package instructions. Steam the broccoli until tender.
