Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon hot honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked brown rice or quinoa
- 1 cup steamed broccoli
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
- Drain excess fat if needed, then stir in hot honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Prepare your choice of brown rice or quinoa according to package instructions. Steam the broccoli until tender.
- Serve by placing a scoop of rice or quinoa in a bowl, topping with hot honey beef, and adding a helping of steamed broccoli.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy your warm dish!
