Ingredients
- 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled (preferably block feta in brine)
- 2–3 tbsp aged balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze
- Fresh mint leaves, torn (optional)
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (optional)
- Pinch of flaky sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Chill the watermelon cubes in the refrigerator until ready to assemble.
- Just before serving, place the watermelon cubes in a large bowl or serving platter.
- Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese evenly over the watermelon.
- Drizzle aged balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze over the top.
- Add torn mint leaves if desired, and a light splash of olive oil or pinch of sea salt to taste.
- Serve immediately, or store components separately and combine just before eating.
Notes
Use thick balsamic glaze for a richer finish. Always combine ingredients just before serving to preserve texture and visual appeal.
