A tangy, creamy, and slightly spicy dip that combines whole berry cranberry sauce, jalapeños, and cream cheese. Perfect for fall gatherings or holiday snack boards.
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce (fresh or canned)
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeño (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon orange zest
- A pinch of salt
- Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for topping
- Crackers, toasted baguette slices, or pretzels for serving
Instructions
- Spread the softened cream cheese evenly on a small serving platter or in a shallow bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix cranberry sauce, jalapeños, green onions, honey, orange zest, and a pinch of salt. Stir until combined.
- Spoon the cranberry mixture over the cream cheese base, letting it cascade slightly over the edges.
- Top with chopped pecans or walnuts if desired for crunch.
- Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Pair with crackers, toasted baguette, or pretzels.
Notes
For a milder version, remove the seeds from the jalapeño. This dip can also be baked at 350°F for 10–15 minutes if a warm version is preferred.
