Description

A tangy, creamy, and slightly spicy dip that combines whole berry cranberry sauce, jalapeños, and cream cheese. Perfect for fall gatherings or holiday snack boards.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce (fresh or canned)
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeño (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon orange zest
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for topping
  • Crackers, toasted baguette slices, or pretzels for serving

Instructions

  1. Spread the softened cream cheese evenly on a small serving platter or in a shallow bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix cranberry sauce, jalapeños, green onions, honey, orange zest, and a pinch of salt. Stir until combined.
  3. Spoon the cranberry mixture over the cream cheese base, letting it cascade slightly over the edges.
  4. Top with chopped pecans or walnuts if desired for crunch.
  5. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Pair with crackers, toasted baguette, or pretzels.

Notes

For a milder version, remove the seeds from the jalapeño. This dip can also be baked at 350°F for 10–15 minutes if a warm version is preferred.
