Description

Spooky Toast with Avocado Spiderwebs is a fun, fast, and festive recipe perfect for Halloween mornings, after-school snacks, or spooky brunches. Creamy avocado, tangy yogurt webs, and olive spiders make this toast a haunting hit for both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread (whole grain or sourdough)
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon milk (to thin the yogurt)
  • Black olives (for spider bodies and legs)
  • Optional: chili flakes, garlic powder, or everything seasoning

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
  2. Mash the avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado evenly over each toast slice.
  4. Mix yogurt with milk to thin. Transfer to a zip-top bag or squeeze bottle and pipe a spiral onto each toast slice.
  5. Drag a toothpick from the center out to create a spiderweb effect.
  6. Slice black olives into rounds and strips to form spider bodies and legs. Place on the toast.
  7. Serve immediately for best texture and appearance.

Notes

Use ripe avocados and fully cooled toast for best results. Yogurt webs can be colored with beet juice or turmeric for festive variations.
