Description

A fiery, cheesy mashup that brings together ramen noodles and lasagna layers into one bold, bubbling, comfort-food-meets-street-food bake.

Ingredients

  • 4 packs of instant ramen (uncooked, seasoning packets discarded)
  • 1 lb ground beef or meatless crumbles
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups spicy marinara sauce (add chili paste to taste)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (or more for extra heat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the ramen bricks just until pliable, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a pan, sauté onion and garlic until golden. Add ground meat, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the spicy marinara sauce and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of sauce. Add a layer of noodles, then meat mixture, dollops of ricotta, and mozzarella. Repeat until ingredients are used up, finishing with cheese on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.

Notes

Adjust the heat level to your preference. Great for weeknights or gatherings, and it reheats beautifully the next day.
