Ingredients
- 8 ounces fresh salmon fillet (skin removed, diced into small pieces)
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
- Mini pastry shells or phyllo dough cups (store-bought or homemade, ensure they’re halal)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the diced salmon, smoked paprika, olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Fold in the softened cream cheese until well incorporated.
- Place your mini pastry shells on a baking sheet and spoon the salmon mixture into each shell.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the filling is heated through.
