Description

Ingredients

  • 1 large bulb of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Aluminum foil (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prep the garlic by peeling away the outer layers to expose individual cloves.
  2. Trim about a quarter-inch from the top of the bulb to allow the cloves to caramelize.
  3. Season with extra-virgin olive oil, sea salt, and freshly cracked black pepper.
  4. Wrap in aluminum foil for a softer texture or leave unwrapped for crispier results.
  5. Air Fry at 320°F (160°C) for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness at 15 minutes.
  6. Cooling after removing from the air fryer to allow the cloves to cool down.
  7. Serve by squeezing the roasted cloves out of their skins.
