Ingredients
- 1 large bulb of garlic
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Sea salt, to taste
- Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- Aluminum foil (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the garlic by peeling away the outer layers to expose individual cloves.
- Trim about a quarter-inch from the top of the bulb to allow the cloves to caramelize.
- Season with extra-virgin olive oil, sea salt, and freshly cracked black pepper.
- Wrap in aluminum foil for a softer texture or leave unwrapped for crispier results.
- Air Fry at 320°F (160°C) for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness at 15 minutes.
- Cooling after removing from the air fryer to allow the cloves to cool down.
- Serve by squeezing the roasted cloves out of their skins.
Notes
Choose a fresh bulb of garlic for the best flavor. For a nuttier taste, roast a little longer while keeping an eye on it to prevent burning.
