Description

These juicy chicken thighs are glazed in a sticky-sweet honey garlic sauce, all made in one skillet in just 25 minutes. Perfect for cozy, comforting dinners without the hassle.

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari/coconut aminos for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley or green onion for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken thighs smooth-side down. Sear for 5–6 minutes, flip, and cook another 5 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower heat and add minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over each piece. Let simmer 2 minutes more to absorb flavor.
  5. Garnish with parsley or green onion. Serve hot with rice, veggies, or warm bread.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. For a gluten-free version, swap soy sauce with tamari. To meal prep, store the glaze separately and reheat with chicken later.
