Description

A comforting one-pan dinner made with crispy roasted potatoes, smoky sausage, creamy ranch, and melted cheese, easy, hearty, and family-friendly.


Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs small red or gold potatoes, cubed
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss cubed potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread potatoes evenly on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20 minutes until golden and crisp around the edges.
  5. While potatoes roast, heat a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add sliced sausage and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned.
  7. In a large bowl, combine roasted potatoes and sausage.
  8. Mix in ranch dressing and sour cream until evenly coated.
  9. Transfer mixture to a lightly greased baking dish.
  10. Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  11. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use smoked sausage for best flavor. This recipe doubles easily for meal prep or feeding a crowd.
