Description
A comforting one-pan dinner made with crispy roasted potatoes, smoky sausage, creamy ranch, and melted cheese, easy, hearty, and family-friendly.
Ingredients
- 1½ lbs small red or gold potatoes, cubed
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss cubed potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Spread potatoes evenly on a baking sheet.
- Roast for 20 minutes until golden and crisp around the edges.
- While potatoes roast, heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced sausage and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned.
- In a large bowl, combine roasted potatoes and sausage.
- Mix in ranch dressing and sour cream until evenly coated.
- Transfer mixture to a lightly greased baking dish.
- Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use smoked sausage for best flavor. This recipe doubles easily for meal prep or feeding a crowd.
