Description
These Mummy Brownies with White Chocolate Bandages are the ultimate Halloween crowd-pleaser—rich, fudgy, and perfectly spooky with silky white chocolate wraps and candy eyes.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
- Candy eyeballs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, whisking until smooth.
- Sift in cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until fully combined.
- Spread batter evenly in the pan. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely.
- Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
- Use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle white chocolate across each brownie in crisscross patterns like bandages.
- While the chocolate is still soft, press two candy eyeballs onto each brownie.
- Let set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Let brownies cool completely before decorating to prevent the white chocolate from sliding. Add a pinch of cinnamon for a warm fall twist, or swirl in cream cheese before baking for extra indulgence.
