Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring salmon marinated in a zesty lemon-garlic mixture, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the salmon: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade over the top. Allow the salmon to marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator for an extra flavor boost.
  2. Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  3. Cook the salmon: Lightly grease the air fryer basket with a bit of olive oil. Place the marinated salmon fillets in the basket, skin-side down. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Serve: Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer, plate it up, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Choose wild-caught salmon for the best flavor. Don’t skip the marinade for optimal taste.
