Description

These Keto Philly Cheesesteak Roll Ups are bold, cheesy, and low-carb—the perfect cozy comfort food without the guilt. Quick, satisfying, and great for meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 500g thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin works best)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese (or mozzarella, if you prefer)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 68 large deli-style slices of roast beef or turkey (halal-approved alternatives)
  • Toothpicks or baking twine

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Cook until softened, about 6–8 minutes.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sauté until just cooked through, around 4–5 minutes.
  3. Lay a slice of roast beef or turkey on a cutting board. Add a piece of provolone cheese on top. Spoon a generous amount of the beef-veggie mixture onto one end and roll tightly. Secure with a toothpick.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange roll-ups in a baking dish and bake for 5–7 minutes until cheese is melty. This step enhances flavor but is optional.
  5. Remove toothpicks before serving. Enjoy with a fresh side salad or roasted veggies.

Notes

Let the filling cool slightly before rolling to avoid tearing the meat. Don’t overfill. Use a hot pan for a nice sear. Try provolone for classic flavor, or mozzarella for a twist.
