Description

A delicious Honey Soy Glazed Salmon recipe capturing the essence of fall with its sweet and savory flavors, perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sliced green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced ginger, and minced garlic.
  2. Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour three-quarters of the honey-soy mixture over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the Salmon: Add the marinated salmon fillets, skin-side down, into the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes without moving.
  5. Add the Glaze: Flip the salmon fillets and add the reserved glaze to the pan. Allow it to reduce for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Choose high-quality salmon for the best flavor. Adjust sweetness and saltiness of the glaze to taste.
