Description

This Honey Garlic Smoked Sausage is a sweet and savory skillet dish that comes together in minutes. It’s sticky, garlicky, and perfectly caramelized for a fast weeknight comfort meal with bold flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat with the olive oil. Add smoked sausage in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Pour over sausage and simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring, until glaze thickens and coats the sausage.
  4. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot over rice, potatoes, or pasta.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for maximum flavor. Double the glaze if serving with grains. Add bell peppers or zucchini in the last few minutes for a veggie boost. For gluten-free, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
