Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk (or a dairy-free alternative)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Swiss)
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup fresh spinach (or kale)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (for sautéing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté the finely chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until soft (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add the spinach (or kale) and cook until wilted; remove from heat.
- Whisk the eggs in a large bowl, then add milk, salt, pepper, and paprika, whisking until smooth.
- Combine diced ham, sautéed vegetables, and shredded cheese into the egg mixture.
- Pour the quiche mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
