A cozy and heartwarming crustless quiche filled with ham, cheese, and fresh vegetables, perfect for breakfast or light dinner.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (or a dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Swiss)
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (or kale)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (for sautéing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the finely chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until soft (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Add the spinach (or kale) and cook until wilted; remove from heat.
  4. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl, then add milk, salt, pepper, and paprika, whisking until smooth.
  5. Combine diced ham, sautéed vegetables, and shredded cheese into the egg mixture.
  6. Pour the quiche mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish, spreading it out evenly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

Feel free to mix up the cheese and incorporate seasonal vegetables for added nutrition and flavor.
