Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the asparagus by rinsing under cool water and trimming the woody ends.
- Combine olive oil (or melted butter), garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
- Toss the asparagus with the garlic lemon mixture on a baking sheet, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
