Ingredients
- 1 lb smoked sausage (turkey, chicken, or beef), sliced into ½-inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Toothpicks for serving
Instructions
- Slice the sausage into ½-inch rounds and finely mince the garlic.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced sausage in a single layer. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until browned and heated through.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm with toothpicks.
Notes
