Description
Tender, golden chicken bites tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce with a hint of lemon, simple, comforting, and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken in a single layer and cook 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and scrape up browned bits.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.
- Add chili flakes if using, squeeze in lemon juice, and stir well.
- Cook for 1 more minute, then remove from heat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the pan to ensure a good sear. Use real butter for best flavor, and adjust lemon and chili flakes to taste.
