Description

These Frankenstein Guacamole Dip Cups are spooky, fun, and delicious—layered with salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and crunchy chip ‘hair.’ A no-cook Halloween snack that’s perfect for parties or kids’ treats.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe avocados
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup salsa (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Crushed blue corn tortilla chips or crushed black bean chips
  • Clear plastic cups (9 oz recommended)
  • Black permanent marker (for Frankenstein faces)
  • Optional: chopped red onion, diced tomatoes, jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Mash avocados in a bowl with lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper until creamy but slightly chunky. Stir in optional onion or tomato if desired.
  2. Draw Frankenstein faces on plastic cups using a black permanent marker.
  3. Layer 2 tbsp salsa at the bottom of each cup, then a layer of guacamole, a thin layer of sour cream, and finish with crushed tortilla chips on top for hair.
  4. Refrigerate until serving. Best enjoyed within 2–3 hours for freshness.

Notes

Use ripe avocados and lime juice to keep guacamole bright. Assemble up to 2 hours ahead, but add crushed chips just before serving to stay crispy.
