  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour blend, if desired)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened (dairy-free if preferred)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Fresh banana slices, for topping
  • Ground cinnamon or crushed nuts, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Prepare the banana bread batter by combining mashed bananas and melted oil, then mix in brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  2. Sprinkle in baking soda and salt, then fold in flour and optional cinnamon until just incorporated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and grease the basket.
  4. Pour the batter into a round cake pan and place in the air fryer, cooking for 25-30 minutes.
