A simple, creamy chicken dish cooked in the crock pot, perfect for hands-off cooking.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 8 oz package of cream cheese
- 1 lb angel hair pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- In a separate bowl, mix the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and cream cheese until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- About 15 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
- Once the chicken is done, shred it in the crock pot and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Serve the creamy chicken over the cooked angel hair pasta and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Use full-fat cream cheese for the creamiest sauce. If the sauce is too thick, stir in milk or chicken broth to thin it out.
