Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skin removed
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the salmon by cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
- Make the coating by combining panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish.
- Prepare the egg wash by beating the large egg in another bowl.
- Coat each salmon piece in the egg, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Air fry the salmon bites in a single layer for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh salmon for the best results; if using frozen, ensure it’s fully thawed. Experiment with spices and do not overcrowd the air fryer.
