Description

Delicious and crunchy air-fried chickpeas, perfect for a cozy fall snack or entertaining friends.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt (to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)


Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse your can of chickpeas under cold water.
  2. Pat the chickpeas dry with paper towels.
  3. Combine the dried chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  4. Toss everything together until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Arrange the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Remove the chickpeas from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  9. Enjoy them on their own or as a topping for salads, soups, or grain bowls.
