Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt (to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Instructions
- Drain and rinse your can of chickpeas under cold water.
- Pat the chickpeas dry with paper towels.
- Combine the dried chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
- Toss everything together until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Arrange the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove the chickpeas from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Enjoy them on their own or as a topping for salads, soups, or grain bowls.
Notes
