Description
Delicious and crispy air-fried potstickers filled with ground chicken and vegetables, perfect for autumn gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ground chicken (or turkey, halal)
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package round potsticker wrappers (halal)
- 1 egg (for sealing, optional)
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil (for air frying)
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken (or turkey), shredded cabbage, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated. Taste and adjust seasonings. Set aside.
- Assemble the Potstickers: Place a potsticker wrapper in the palm of your hand. Add about 1 tablespoon of filling to the center. If using, lightly brush the edges with beaten egg. Fold the wrapper over to create a half-moon shape and press edges to seal.
- Air Fry the Potstickers: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly coat the basket with cooking oil. Arrange the potstickers in a single layer and spray or brush tops with oil. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Avoid overfilling potstickers to prevent bursting. Seal well and consider freezing uncooked potstickers for later cooking.
