Description

Golden, flaky puff pastry bites filled with creamy brie and tangy cranberry sauce. These easy, crowd pleasing appetizers are perfect for fall gatherings and holiday parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed but cold)
  • 1 small wheel brie cheese (approx. 8 oz), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: chopped pecans or rosemary for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll the puff pastry onto a floured surface and cut into 12 equal squares.
  3. Place a cube of brie in the center of each square.
  4. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over each brie cube.
  5. Top with chopped pecans or rosemary if desired.
  6. Fold the pastry corners over the filling or leave them open for a rustic look.
  7. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 15–18 minutes until puffed and golden.
  9. Cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

Keep the pastry cold for best puff. Use a mini muffin tin to help the bites hold shape. Swap in fig jam or hot pepper jelly for a tasty variation.
