Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons butter (or a halal alternative, such as ghee or coconut oil)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: Vanilla extract (for extra flavor)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer: Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for even cooking.
  2. Prepare the bananas: Peel and slice them in half lengthwise or into rounds.
  3. Make the caramel mixture: Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
  4. Coat the bananas: Melt butter (or alternative) and dip banana halves into the mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the banana halves with the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly covered.
  6. Place in air fryer: Arrange coated bananas in a single layer in the basket.
  7. Air fry: Cook for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
