Description

Creamy, cozy, and naturally sweet overnight oats with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a touch of vanilla. A no-fuss breakfast made for crisp fall mornings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: chopped pecans, sliced bananas, maple syrup for topping

Instructions

  1. In a mason jar or medium bowl, combine oats, almond milk, brown sugar, chia seeds, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well mixed and chia seeds are evenly distributed.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  4. In the morning, stir the oats again. Top with chopped pecans, banana slices, or a drizzle of maple syrup before serving.

Notes

Use rolled oats for the best texture. Add a scoop of nut butter for extra protein, or mix in chopped apples or raisins before refrigerating for added fall flavor.
