Description

Bite-size succulent chicken morsels seasoned and seared to perfection for a cozy, quick meal.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon maple syrup


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the chicken with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Warm a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil.
  3. Add the chicken pieces in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet, and return all chicken to the pan. Stir in lemon juice and maple syrup if using.
  5. Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Pat chicken dry for better browning. Don’t overcrowd the skillet for optimal searing.
