Bite-size succulent chicken morsels seasoned and seared to perfection for a cozy, quick meal.
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Optional: 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions
- Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the chicken with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Warm a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil.
- Add the chicken pieces in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet, and return all chicken to the pan. Stir in lemon juice and maple syrup if using.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Pat chicken dry for better browning. Don’t overcrowd the skillet for optimal searing.
