Description

A comforting and easy-to-make twist on the classic Big Mac, wrapped in soft tortillas for a delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped white onion
  • 8 dill pickle slices
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, onion powder, and paprika. Chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the rest.
  2. Cook the beef: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Warm the tortillas and cheese: Reduce heat to low. Place a slice of cheese on a tortilla to let it soften, or briefly warm tortillas in a dry skillet for 15–20 seconds per side.
  4. Assemble the wraps: Lay each tortilla flat. Spread about 1–2 tablespoons of the special sauce down the center. Add a quarter of the cooked beef, shredded lettuce, a tablespoon of chopped onion, and two pickle slices. Fold the sides and roll tightly.
  5. Optional crisping: For a toasty edge, place assembled wraps seam-side down in a skillet over medium heat for 1–2 minutes per side until lightly golden.

Notes

Use room-temperature tortillas to prevent tearing when rolling. For even flavor, prepare the sauce ahead and let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes.
