Ingredients
- 4 halal hot dog sausages
- 4 hot dog buns
- ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
- ½ cup diced onions (optional)
- ¼ cup jalapeños (optional for a kick)
- Mustard and ketchup for serving
- Olive oil spray or melted butter for crisping
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Make a few shallow slits in each hot dog with a sharp knife.
- Spray or brush the hot dogs with olive oil.
- Place the hot dogs in the air fryer in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Add the hot dog buns in the last couple of minutes to warm them up.
- Remove hot dogs and buns, load each hot dog in a bun, and top with cheese, onions, and jalapeños.
- Drizzle with mustard and ketchup, and serve!
Notes
For even cooking, do not overcrowd the air fryer. Customize toppings to your liking.
