Delicious and cozy Airfryer Bacon and Cheese Wrapped Toasts, perfect for fall snacking.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of thick bread (sourdough or your choice)
- 8 slices of bacon (halal turkey bacon or your favorite alternative)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend of your choice)
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease the basket with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Spread the softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Sprinkle a little garlic powder and dried oregano on the non-buttered side of each slice.
- Add shredded cheese generously on top.
- Lay two slices of turkey bacon crisscross over the cheese.
- Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the top.
- Place the prepared toasts into the air fryer basket and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Enjoy the aroma before serving them warm and gooey straight from the air fryer.
Notes
Use thicker bread for best results. Don’t skimp on the cheese for that gooey factor.
