Ingredients
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (or a plant-based alternative)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: a handful of nuts or seeds
Instructions
- Prepare the apples: Start by peeling and dicing the apples. Toss them with cinnamon and honey or maple syrup.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix rolled oats, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix everything together: Gradually fold the wet mixture into the dry mixture, then add the spiced apples.
- Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your Air Fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Transfer to air fryer: Lightly grease the basket or use parchment paper, then pour the mixture into the basket.
- Cook: Air fry for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Serve warm: Let it cool slightly, then slice and serve with extra honey or chia seeds.
