Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (about 4-5 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, halved (optional)
- Fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary or thyme, for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by patting the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Rub this mixture all over the chicken, covering every nook and cranny.
- Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket, breast side down.
- Cook for 30 minutes, then flip the chicken breast side up and cook for another 20-30 minutes.
