Description

A cozy dish that combines the savory richness of steak with fragrant garlic butter, perfect for autumn evenings.

Ingredients

  • 2 steaks (filet mignon or ribeye)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter or halal butter alternative
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Take steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and rub each side with olive oil. Generously season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the seasoned steaks in the basket of your air fryer. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. While the steaks are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  6. Once the steaks are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
  7. Slice the steak against the grain, drizzle with the garlic butter, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For best results, use a meat thermometer to check doneness. Allow steak to rest for juiciness.
