Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
- Optional: Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Prep the shrimp: Start with fresh, peeled, and deveined shrimp. Rinse them under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Make the marinade: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh lemon juice. Stir well to create a marinade.
- Marinate the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss until all the pieces are evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer: While the shrimp are marinating, preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the shrimp: Arrange the marinated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Serve and enjoy: Carefully remove the shrimp from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For the best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Watch the shrimp closely to prevent overcooking.
