Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- ยฝ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ยฝ teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure they get a nice sear.
- Mix the marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Season the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large bowl or a resealable bag, and pour the marinade over them. Massage the marinade into the chicken until each piece is evenly coated.
- Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or for best results, refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
- Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) for about 5 minutes.
- Air fry the chicken: Place the marinated chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165ยฐF (75ยฐC).
- Rest and serve: After cooking, let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, slice, and serve.

Donโt overcrowd the air fryer basket; use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking without drying out the chicken.
