Description

Delicious Air Fryer Salmon Bites marinated in a savory-sweet soy sauce, perfect for a cozy fall meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper.
  3. Place the salmon bites into the marinade and gently mix until coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the marinated salmon bites in a single layer.
  6. Cook the salmon bites for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Once cooked, remove the salmon bites and boil the remaining marinade for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Drizzle the sauce over the bites and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
  9. Serve warm with a side of steamed veggies, rice, or salad.

Notes

Use high-quality salmon for best results and don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
