Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh salmon fillet
- ¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)
- Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer
Instructions
- Start by cutting the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper.
- Place the salmon bites into the marinade and gently mix until coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the marinated salmon bites in a single layer.
- Cook the salmon bites for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once cooked, remove the salmon bites and boil the remaining marinade for 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle the sauce over the bites and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Serve warm with a side of steamed veggies, rice, or salad.
