Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt.
- Slice the potatoes into thin even slices, about 1/8 inch thick.
- Soak the slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes for extra crispiness (optional).
- Drain and pat the potato slices dry with a clean towel.
- Combine the potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place a single layer of potato slices in the air fryer basket.
- Cook the potato slices for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove them carefully from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
