Description
A warm and comforting peach cobbler made in the air fryer, perfect for autumn gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4-5 ripe peaches (fresh or canned)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 1 cup milk (or almond milk)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cream or whipped cream (optional for serving)
- Chopped nuts (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the peaches: If using fresh peaches, wash them, slice, and remove the pits. If using canned peaches, drain the syrup and set aside.
- Make the cobbler batter: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, 3/4 cup of sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients, whisking until just combined.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Assemble the cobbler: Grease the air fryer basket, pour the batter into the basket, arrange the sliced peaches over the top, and sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar.
- Cook the cobbler in the air fryer for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness.
- Serve and enjoy: Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes, serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
