Ingredients
- 3 large egg whites (room temperature)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prep your space: Make sure your mixing bowl and beaters are clean and dry.
- Whip the egg whites until foamy, about 2 minutes.
- Add the cream of tartar and salt; continue whisking until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Flavor it up by gently stirring in the vanilla extract.
- Pipe the meringue mixture onto parchment paper or directly onto the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 250°F (120°C) for 20-25 minutes until crisp on the outside.
- Cool in the air fryer with the door slightly open.
