Description

Ingredients

  • 3 large egg whites (room temperature)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • A pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Prep your space: Make sure your mixing bowl and beaters are clean and dry.
  2. Whip the egg whites until foamy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the cream of tartar and salt; continue whisking until soft peaks form.
  4. Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
  5. Flavor it up by gently stirring in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pipe the meringue mixture onto parchment paper or directly onto the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry at 250°F (120°C) for 20-25 minutes until crisp on the outside.
