Ingredients
- 12 fresh jalapeno peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled halal turkey bacon (or your preferred alternative)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs (optional, for crunchy topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare each jalapeno by slicing in half lengthwise and removing seeds and membranes.
- Make the filling by combining cream cheese, cheddar cheese, turkey bacon, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture generously.
- Prepare for frying by optionally sprinkling breadcrumbs on top.
- Air fry the poppers for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
