Description

A cozy fall treat featuring crispy skin and fluffy interior, perfect for family gatherings or a relaxing night in.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized russet potatoes (or your favorite variety)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, chives, shredded cheese, bacon bits (or halal alternatives), broccoli, or any toppings of your choice

Instructions

  1. Scrub the potatoes under running water to remove any dirt.
  2. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  3. Using a fork, poke several holes in each potato.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the potatoes, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, rubbing the seasoning into the skin for extra flavor.
  6. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes to preheat it.
  7. Once heated, place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch each other.
  8. Cook for 35-45 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through.
  9. After 35 minutes, check for doneness by inserting a fork into the largest potato.
  10. Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  11. Slice them open and fluff the insides with a fork.
  12. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes

Choose russet potatoes for a fluffy interior and don’t rush the cooking process for crispy skin.
