Description
A cozy and delicious grilled ham and cheese sandwich made easily in the air fryer, perfect for chilly autumn nights.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of whole-grain or sourdough bread
- 2 slices of halal ham
- 2 slices of cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or mozzarella)
- 1-2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- Optional: Freshly cracked black pepper and mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in a clean workspace.
- Layer one slice of cheese on top, followed by the halal ham, then another slice of cheese, and finally, the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Carefully place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for about 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove the sandwich and let it cool for a minute before slicing. Serve with soup or salad.
Notes
Evenly spread the butter and donโt rush the air frying for the best texture. Experiment with different cheeses for added flavor.
