Description

Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized russet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry.
  3. Slice the Potatoes: Carefully slice each potato into thin, even slices, leaving about 1/4 inch at the bottom intact.
  4. Make the Garlic Butter: Melt the butter in a saucepan, stir in garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper, and let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
  5. Coat the Potatoes: Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over each potato, reserving some for basting.
  6. Air Fry the Potatoes: Cook in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway and basting with reserved garlic butter.
  7. Check for Doneness: Insert a fork into the potatoes to check if they are tender.
  8. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired, then serve warm.
