Deliciously soft and gooey cookies filled with melting chocolate chips, ready in under 10 minutes with your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set this mixture aside.
- Cream the butter and sugars: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Using a hand mixer, beat until creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Add chocolate chips: Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts (if using) until evenly distributed.
- Form the cookies: Use a cookie scoop to portion out balls of dough. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the cookies: Freeze the cookie dough balls for at least one hour.
- Air fry your cookies: Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place few frozen dough balls in the basket. Cook for about 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool and enjoy: Remove cookies from the air fryer and let cool on a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer and check for doneness carefully.
